Updates - 07/07/2025


Added a bit more to the engine tonight. Experimenting with the battle system and added a fox creature that can be drawn, seems to be functioning just fine. You'll be able to add the elements as buffs to your creatures eventually.

Also added some variables for hit-points so the game isn't a best out of three type deal. There are tokens now so you can purchase packs of cards to add to your personal deck that you earn buy defeating bosses, and "essence" which will work sort of like mana for summoning creatures. I'm also considering adding a timer to the battles to reward how quickly you can defeat a boss with extra tokens.

The bosses are being slowly set up to where they will each have a certain element or two that they work with but as the difficulty increases the boss will have a more likely chance to have further elemental cards that are your weakness.

Next step might be to tackle the battle sequence to play off of what I have now and then afterword adding a longer list of creatures.

The fox image attached is a placeholder now for the card, I imagine I'll eventually bite the bullet and pay the huge amount needed for some authentic artwork.
